Wests Tigers fullback Justin Hunt is set to escape a suspension for his spectacular coat-hanger tackle on Canterbury playmaker Moses Mbye.

Hunt was given a grade-two careless high tackle charge by the NRL match review committee on Monday but he can avoid a one-match ban with an early gulity plea.

Hunt felled Mbye when he hung his arm out and caught him high and late during the Bulldogs' big win at ANZ Stadium on Sunday, prompting calls for him to be sent off.
